Himalayan Adventure: Early Women Adventurers

The remarkable story of three English women who travelled overland to the Himalayas in 1958.
Their amazing archive footage of the Zanskar valley was recently unearthed and is shown here with interviews with the three women.
It was the first film ever shot in Zanskar and shows a fascinating insight into a way of life which is slowly fading away.
